Atlanta United VS Inter Miami CF

Sitting near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, Atlanta United’s playoff hopes are all but extinguished this term. Through 28 regular season matches, they have recorded 7 wins, 6 draws and 15 losses for 27 total points, sitting 14th in the east. Their recent form has been deeply underwhelming, with only 1 win, 1 draw and 4 losses across their last 6 competitive fixtures. While they often generate solid attacking output at their Mercedes-Benz Stadium home, their defensive frailties are glaring, and they frequently drop points in high-scoring, end-to-end home encounters. In sharp contrast, Inter Miami sit 2nd in the Eastern Conference with 49 points from 28 matches, notching 13 wins, 10 draws and 5 losses to lock in their playoff spot well ahead of schedule. They have bounced back to hot form recently, claiming two straight league wins with consecutive clean sheets, most recently routing D.C. United 4-0 at home. Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are in blistering form, with the pair combining to contribute a huge share of the team’s recent goals and assists.
